Aim

Objective
To provide students with knowledge on the pharmacokinetics and biopharmaceutical meaning of drugs, of the relationship between pharmaceutical technology and pharmacology.

Study outcome

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the subject, the student:
1. Knows the options and kinetics of research of release of the active substances that form medicines;
2. Is able to explain the principles of passive and active transport taking place in the body;
3. Knows the pharmacokinetics of drugs;
4. Knows the biopharmaceutical meaning of the physio-chemical properties and of the various pharmaceutical forms manufactured of drugs.
