Aim

Objective
To give students the capability to understand the development, structure and the functioning of the human body and the mechanisms regulating the activity of the organ systems.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the subject, the student:
1. Knows the development of the human body;
2. Knows the structure and operation of the human body;
3. Knows the mechanisms regulating the structure and operation of the human body;
4. Is able to explain the processes taking place in the body, based on the physical processes taking place in the body;
5. Has the ability to link the knowledge acquired with other subjects;
6. Knows Latin terminology.
